National Exhibition 2012

This year the Association have decided to include an open section for all members who wish to participate in this year’s National Exhibition.

Watch this space for the Notts & Lincoln Guild’s entries to the Exhibition.

The open section enables all of us to participate in this wonderful biennial celebration of our crafts.  It cannot have escaped your notice that 2012 is the year of The Olympics, so the Association are looking to all members to use their creativity to produce a piece, which they have fitted into a 6”ring. We are looking for spinning, weaving, dyeing, knitting, crochet, felting, needle felting, collage, lacework, hookey or proggy mat work etc. As long as you use fibres/yarn the world is your oyster.  They can be single sided, two sided or three dimensional.

The only proviso is that you must not replicate the Olympic rings, as this would be in breach of copyright.
